Job summary

CSBio and Yowei Therapeutics seek a hands-on AI Software Engineer to build internal applications, AI-assisted workflows, data systems, and secure automations across clinical, laboratory, manufacturing, and company operations in Milpitas, CA.

You will design and deploy web apps using TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, Python, and SQL, integrate LLMs, ensure robust security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver regulated-system software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, data science, or related field.
• 3+ years building, deploying, and maintaining production software.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, SQL, and web-development practices.
• Experience with React, Next.js, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/Supabase).
• Designing APIs, authentication, authorization, and secure workflows.
• Hands-on experience with integrating LLM APIs into apps, with testing and privacy focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain internal web apps, dashboards, data tools, and workflows.
• Develop and improve internal systems for employee, project, operational, clinical, laboratory, or manufacturing workflows.
• Build AI-assisted features using approved models and services, including document processing and retrieval-augmented workflows.
• Create evaluation datasets, tests, guardrails, logging, and human-review workflows for AI quality.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, manage source control, and document defects and incident procedures.
• Monitor deployed apps, fix performance issues, and communicate risks to users and leadership.
