Job summary

Landing Point in New York is seeking a Software Engineer for its AI Team to evaluate, distribute, and maintain internal AI tools across the firm. You will focus on agentic engineering practices and help scale the firm's model-driven initiatives.

The role emphasizes building and maintaining MCP servers, shaping security policies and data entitlements, migrating legacy workflows to agentic ones, and contributing to multiple concurrent projects to advance the firm's discretionary macro trading

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with Python or Java.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL skills.
• Experience building and maintaining MCP servers.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman).
• Experience with CLI agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI).
• Deep understanding of how modern models work—how they are trained, how they generate content.

Responsibilities

• Establish, iterate, and educate on best practices for agentic engineering.
• Create, manage, and maintain internal MCP servers.

Compensation: Salary: $150,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
