AI Agent Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco, California – fully onsite
Salary: $200-350k plus Equity & Benefits
Our client is a high-growth AI company offering a cloud-based SaaS platform that uses large language models (LLMs) to automate customer service across chat, email, and social channels. Their platform helps global enterprises replace traditional support teams with intelligent AI agents capable of handling sensitive, complex customer needs.
We are seeking top 1% engineering talent – highly analytical developers with strong educational and professional pedigrees.
As an AI Agent Software Engineer, you will design and build high-performance AI agents that deliver customer experiences more accurate, efficient, and satisfying than their human counterparts.
You will work in a highly collaborative, engineer‑led environment with full‑cycle ownership – from idea to production deployment – and have a direct impact on how enterprise clients engage with their users.
Your work will involve:
You’ll collaborate with product managers, customer‑facing teams, and fellow engineers to shape agent behaviour, improve outcomes, and solve real‑world problems across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and travel.
This is not a legacy code maintenance role. It is a greenfield opportunity to redefine how millions interact with technology through AI.
You’ll join a team that values:
You will help companies cut support costs, raise satisfaction scores, and scale customer support without growing headcount.
This is your chance to help shape the future of AI-human interaction – to build not just code, but intelligent systems that solve meaningful problems with clarity, speed, and empathy.
If you are driven by engineering that delivers real‑world impact – not vanity metrics – and thrive in environments where you own your work end‑to‑end, we want to hear from you.
