Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer in the United States (remote) to design, develop, and support modern business applications while helping teams safely adopt AI-powered development tools.

You will build production-ready software, establish AI development standards, and collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver innovative solutions and secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex in production.
• Experience designing REST APIs and secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Entra ID).
• Hands-on Azure cloud services, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and IaC using Terraform or Bicep.
• Strong focus on application security, testing, code reviews, and AI development guardrails.

AI Software Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to develop and support modern business applications while helping teams safely adopt AI-powered development tools. This is a hands-on opportunity to build production-ready software, establish AI development standards, and collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.

• Location: Remote
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 150-165k
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure.
• Build secure APIs, backend services, and integrations connecting business applications, AI tools, and enterprise systems.
• Establish and manage AI-assisted development workflows, including code reviews, automated testing, security controls, and production deployments.
• Develop reusable AI coding tools, Claude skills, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement development standards, mentor nontechnical users, and ensure application performance, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on expertise with Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex to develop and maintain production applications.
• Strong experience designing REST APIs, integrating third-party services, and implementing secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, GitHub administration, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Solid understanding of application security, automated testing, code reviews, and AI development guardrails, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
