Ledgent Technology is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (Microsoft) for a contract role in Irvine, CA. You will design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications in a Microsoft environment, with hands-on experience across Azure, Copilot, Databricks, OpenAI, and related tools.

This position requires 5–9 years of experience, strong Python, API integrations, and expertise in RAG architectures and enterprise data integration. The role is hybrid onsite in Irvine and pays $75–$85 per hour on a W2 basis.

Job Title: AI Solutions Engineer (Microsoft)

Compensation: $75-85 per hour W2 only (based on experience).

Ready to build AI solutions that deliver real business impact? We're seeking an AI Solutions Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience developing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered applications across enterprise Microsoft environment.

What We're Looking For

• 5-9 years of professional overall experience, including 2-4 years' experience in AI, automation, or low-code platforms
• Strong Python development skills with experience building real-world applications and services
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Databricks Genie
• Experience integrating AI models such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms through APIs and SDKs
• Experience working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for connecting AI agents to tools and data
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and enterprise system integrations; Strong understanding of API-based integrations and connecting enterprise systems
• Expertise in RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agent workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Azure
