Qualifications

  • Earned Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest and/or experience teaching artificial intelligence, software engineering, or related topics at undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Evidence of the potential to develop and deliver high-quality courses and curriculum.
  • Exhibit the potential for excellent teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and related CS topics, in person and online.
  • Mentor and guide students individually as part of capstone or applied project teams.
  • Maintain visible on-campus presence with regular office hours.
  • Innovate curriculum and assessment approaches to improve learning outcomes.
  • Perform service activities for the department, college, and university.
