Vylor, Inc. is offering a 3-month AI, Sensor Fusion & Precision Phenotyping Intern position in Indianapolis, IN. You will join the AI & Breeding group to build field-deployed perception systems turning sensor data into plant measurements at scale.

You will lead experiments, validate algorithms in real breeding environments, and communicate results to technical and business audiences. This internship emphasizes ownership and hands-on development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in CS/CE/Robotics or related field; PhD candidates preferred.
• Enrolled at an accredited university during the internship; minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Solid foundation in CV, ML, robotics or computational phenotyping.
• Strong Python and modern ML frameworks experience.

Responsibilities

• Extract quantitative plant traits from multi-modal data using 3D geometry and sensor fusion.
• Develop repeatable workflows for CV and ML pipelines with modular components.
• Own a research project from problem framing through field validation and communication.
