Qualifications

• In progress MS or PhD in plant science or computational field with interest in crop health.
• Experience with controlled-environment research and plant disease phenotyping.
• Experience with data analysis and programming (Python/R).
• Familiarity with computer vision concepts and image analysis.
• Self-motivated with initiative and relocation willingness for 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists in controlled-environment phenotyping and data analysis.
• Develop and validate automated image analysis pipelines to extract traits from imagery.
• Benchmark AI/ML results against manual scores and genomic indices.
• Address technical challenges and ensure safety and compliance during experiments.
