Job summary

Finance of America seeks a leader to oversee the AI Security and Safeguards program, driving control design, tooling choices, and program maturity. You will personally perform security testing, red teaming, and validation of AI-enabled applications while building a small, capable team.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure AI use meets regulatory obligations, consumer protections, and governance standards across our mortgage tech and consumer platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years focused on AI or ML security, data security, security engineering, or emerging tech risk.
• Experience building or scaling a security program from early stage to team leadership.
• Experience securing AI systems in production, including LLM apps and AI services.

Responsibilities

• Owns strategy, roadmap, and execution of the AI Security and Safeguards program, including control design and tooling.
• Performs AI security testing, red teaming, model testing, and guardrail validation.
• Leads governance, procurement, and third‑party risk considerations for AI security.
