Job summary

KPMG LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a Securing AI Manager to join our Advisory Services practice. You will lead client engagements focused on AI security, governance, and risk management across generative and agentic AI platforms.

You will design secure AI architectures and guardrails, assess AI security across ecosystems, and mentor teams while contributing to market offerings and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of cybersecurity, IAM, application security, cloud security, AI governance, or related disciplines with two years in AI security.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Strong experience securing generative and agentic AI platforms, including governance and security architecture.
• Experience with AI platform security and configuration (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude).
• Knowledge of MCP security, AI agent security, IAM, and non-human identities.
• Experience designing RBAC and least-privilege access models with AI logging and monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver client engagements focused on AI security, governance, and risk management across generative and agentic AI platforms.
• Advise clients on secure AI adoption by designing and implementing AI security architectures, guardrails, and controls.
• Assess and strengthen security of AI applications, agents, copilots, and ecosystems focusing on IAM, data protection, and model security.
• Design and implement security controls for agentic AI environments including MCP security and non-human identities.
• Lead AI security testing activities including prompt injection and data leakage assessments with remediation recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop professionals across AI security engagements and contribute to market offerings.
• Act with integrity and uphold KPMG’s respectful work environment.
• Travel may be required.
