Job summary

Brain Co. is seeking an AI Security Engineer Intern to embed security into how Brain Co. develops and ships software.

You will work with security, platform, and infra engineers on real production systems, contributing to security tooling, guardrails, and threat modeling. This builder-focused role targets juniors and seniors graduating no later than June 2028, with hands-on mentorship and exposure to CI/CD, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals through coursework or projects.
• Experience in Python, Go, Java, C++, Bash or similar languages.
• Interest in application, cloud or infrastructure security.

Responsibilities

• Help build security controls in CI/CD pipelines with static analysis and secrets checks.
• Develop developer-facing security tooling and guardrails.
• Secure Kubernetes/container workloads and IaC baselines.
• Work across AWS/GCP/Azure to improve security visibility.
• Assist in threat modeling, reviews, and architecture discussions.
