Precise Software Solutions Inc. is seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure AI-enabled applications for the U.S. Government.

You will lead security and compliance work for AI systems through ATO, adversarial testing, red teaming of LLMs, supply chain risk management, and AI incident response. This role ramps up around ATO milestones and major releases. Responsibilities include implementing Zero Trust, FIPS encryption, and secure LLM API key handling; developing incident response and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience supporting federal ATO efforts under NIST RMF and NIST SP 800-53 Moderate.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience securing or testing AI/ML or Generative AI systems (LLMs, threat modeling).
• Experience with cloud security in FedRAMP-authorized environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and remediation tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the NIST RMF ATO process for each AI system, including boundary definition, categorization, and official documentation.
• Plan and perform AI-specific adversarial testing and red-teaming; track findings through remediation.
• Assemble AI security certification packages and ensure no High or Critical findings remain at release.
• Implement and verify security controls for AI systems including Zero Trust and encryption.
• Develop and maintain AI Incident Response Plan and Business Continuity Plan; lead post-incident reviews.
• Design security monitoring for AI workloads and track control drift compliance.
• Assist privacy documentation and annual assessments; advise engineers on secure design and code reviews.
