Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own employee relations, contribute to a planned HCM system transition, and apply AI-enabled approaches to HR. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR Generalist with employee relations ownership.
• Knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, I-9/E-Verify).
• Experience with modern HCM platforms (Workday, UKG, Paylocity, Paycom, Dayforce).
• Proficiency with AI tools in professional settings.
• Strong communication and independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for managers and employees.
• Independently handle day-to-day employee relations matters and investigations.
• Coach managers on performance and disciplinary actions.
• Support annual performance review process.
• Support data integrity and reporting in HCM systems.
• Participate in evaluation and implementation of a new HCM platform.
• Lead HR projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Training on HR matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and audits.
• Coordinate benefits, workers' comp, and safety partnerships.
• Support compensation processes and payroll changes.
