Kairos seeks a Research Manager to mentor SPAR mentors, helping researchers lead their teams effectively and publish impactful results. You’ll collaborate with SPAR’s program lead to strengthen mentorship quality, shape onboarding, and expand program support as SPAR grows.

You’ll guide mentors through meetings, conflict situations, and dissemination of findings, while avoiding deep supervision of individual projects. Remote, part-time fellowship with significant impact.

Formación

• Solid research experience, e.g. PhD or relevant project work.
• Strong judgment in delicate conversations and conflict resolution.
• Clear written and verbal communication; provide actionable feedback.
• Outstanding organization to support many mentors under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with AI safety ecosystem and research agendas.

Responsabilidades

• Support mentors across the round; main point of contact for a portfolio.
• Coach first-time mentors on running effective meetings and managing mentees.
• Resolve sensitive team situations and help parties find a path forward.
• Advise on research outputs and publication venues; shape mentorship processes.
