U.S. Bank is seeking an AI and Emerging Technologies Risk Manager to coordinate AI use case intake, governance, and oversight.

The role partners with risk, compliance, and information security functions to ensure proper risk identification, documentation, monitoring, and escalation throughout the AI lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in risk/compliance with extensive leadership experience, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
• Experience with AI governance, risk, and controls.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary risk leader for WCIB AI use cases, pilots, and proofs of concept.
• Provide oversight and maintain standards for the AI use case portfolio and lifecycle documentation.
• Translate policy requirements into actionable business guidance and governance artifacts.
• Drive policy execution with registry records, monitoring plans, testing evidence, and governance docs.
• Identify governance gaps and lead remediation to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
• Lead escalation and remediation of AI and emerging tech risks and control deficiencies.
