Texas Department of Transportation’s Information Technology Division seeks an AI Risk Analyst Intern in Austin to support AI governance efforts. You’ll work on identifying, assessing, and mitigating AI deployment risks while monitoring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a student in high school or enrolled in college.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver’s license may be assigned driving duties.
• Preferred: knowledge of AI concepts, research methodologies, data collection, and effective documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining confidential information and records.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on project tasks.
• Researches and evaluates AI software and solutions from a governance perspective.
• Support monitoring compliance with AI regulatory standards.
• Maintains files, records, and logs.
• Maintains contact with team members, leads, and others.
• Performs preliminary research on assignments and gathers pertinent data.
• Performs routine word processing duties and conducts quality checks of documents created.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
