Job summary

Steneral Consulting in Austin, TX, is seeking an AI Program Manager to guide the cross-functional portfolio of AI initiatives within TxDOT ITD. This onsite role requires strong PM skills, cloud expertise, and stakeholder leadership to translate business needs into actionable AI programs.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical program delivery, PMP/Agile knowledge, and experience with AWS/Azure/Google products such as Copilot, Bedrock, SageMaker, Foundry, Gemini and UiPath.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program delivery or closely related areas.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile).
• Experience with AI initiatives, governance, and risk evaluation.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the cross-sectional portfolio of AI initiatives driving adoption into TxDOT operations.
• Collaborate with ITD teams and external partners to understand business needs and ensure user adoption.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve organizational efficiency with AI technologies while maintaining governance.
• Lead cross-functional TxDOT ITD teams to achieve project goals and ensure quality outcomes.
• Generate regular reports on program areas, milestones, and deliverables.
