Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English evaluators to review AI-generated media. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain issues in writing from home on a flexible schedule.

Paid remotely with weekly payments, rates vary by expertise and project, with potential earnings up to $18 per hour. Access leading LLMs and participate in a growing AI evaluation ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and natural conversational ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in on content.
• Nice to have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to decide clearly when options have flaws.
• Open to applicants from Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
