Job summary

LearningMate seeks a Subject Matter Expert to develop and maintain high-quality online course content for a Microsoft Professional Certificate on AI research. The SME will design case studies, critiques, and code scripts, while delivering on-camera instruction and building practical lab exercises in Azure ML, Foundry, PyTorch, and related tools.

The role emphasizes strong ML fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and rigorous assessment design, with governance and responsible AI practices

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in ML/Data Science with 3+ years in advanced ML research.
• 2+ years with generative models/Transformers/diffusion/RLHF in cloud environments.
• Proficient with PyTorch, Azure ML, Foundry, HF and W&B.
• Dynamic on-camera presentation capabilities.
• Master's degree; PhD preferred or 12+ years experience accepted in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & Alignment to ensure content aligns with advanced roles.
• Content Development including case studies, papers, and code scripts.
• Develop content on ML foundations, Transformers, diffusion models, and related topics.
• Test learner activities across Azure ML, Foundry, PyTorch, HF, and W&B.
• Design quizzes, rubrics for research soundness and reproducibility.
• Lead on-camera instructional videos and build lab materials.
• Enforce data lineage standards and align with Responsible AI principles.
• Provide in-line feedback with Instructional Designers and production teams.
