Job summary

Captivation Software in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Technical AI Requirements Systems Engineer to oversee planning, design, and implementation of mission-critical AI-enabled software. You will work with customers, system engineers, developers and stakeholders to define capabilities, validate features, and ensure delivery in an Agile lifecycle.

Candidates should have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred for extra experience), and at least five years as a

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph and be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in Lead System Engineer role.
• Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements with customers.
• Translate requirements into Jira stories and epics for development.
• Perform functional testing of application features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers and developers.
• Present AI approaches and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML to enterprise applications.
