Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Depositary Receipts (DR) and GP&T Commercial Data Lead to join the Data Management team in New York, NY. You will shape and execute the DR and GP&T data agenda, combining governance with a commercial execution mindset to drive value across client, product, and commercial priorities.

You will lead data workstreams, enable AI-ready data products, strengthen end-to-end data risk management, and translate investments into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience or equivalent work experience.
• Strong data strategy and execution experience in financial services.
• Strong governance, data quality, and controls experience.
• Proven executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery and prioritization.
• Ability to translate governance and remediation priorities into business enablement and reusable data products.

Responsibilities

• Lead DR and GP&T commercial data strategy and execution.
• Steer data initiatives aligning with enterprise data strategy and Data & AI operating model.
• Translate business priorities into a clear execution roadmap with milestones and outcomes.
• Run governance forums for planning, risk management, and decision-making.
• Develop reusable data capabilities supporting commercial use cases and reporting.
• Own readiness, risk management, and action-tracking across data initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, product, technology, and risk teams to reflect commercial needs in delivery.
