Job summary

The Suddath Companies in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Data Governance & AI Readiness Architect to lead enterprise data stewardship, ensure data quality, and drive AI-ready data operations. You will oversee governance forums, partner with cybersecurity, privacy, and legal, and advance Microsoft Fabric capabilities.

Responsibilities include shaping data standards, driving modernization, and coordinating with Microsoft partners and systems integrators while aligning with business outcomes and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of data experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in data governance, quality, metadata, stewardship, architecture, and AI readiness.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure data platforms, and modern DataOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise data ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata, lineage, access, and master/reference data.
• Define readiness criteria for analytics, automation, and AI readiness with security and compliance.
• Guide Microsoft Fabric modernization including patterns, workspaces, pipelines, and cost optimization.
• Apply AI and automation to improve data quality, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional delivery, manage budgets, and partner with Microsoft and integrators.
