Job summary

Wolters Kluwer N.V. seeks an experienced Data Architect to define and govern an enterprise data architecture supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and data-driven capabilities. You will lead across Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, and Azure Data Factory, promoting SD D and AI-focused data foundations.

You will design target architectures for analytics, AI, and operational workloads, establish standards, and mentor engineers to drive modernization and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, warehousing, or analytics.
• 3+ years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap.
• Lead Microsoft Fabric architecture and governance across data platforms.
• Define standards for dimensional modeling, Data Vault, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Establish ETL/ELT architecture standards across Azure Data Factory and Fabric Data Factory.
• Create governance frameworks for data quality, lineage, metadata, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Define AI-ready data architecture patterns and support AI initiatives.
• Conduct architecture reviews and mentor engineers.
