Job summary

Outlier invites experienced software engineers to join a structured remote QA coding program that trains AI models to generate and evaluate code. You will review AI-generated code and help improve model outputs while working freelance via Outlier.ai.

This 1099 contract role offers flexible hours and pay up to $34 per hour, with additional incentives through Missions. Applicants from multiple LATAM countries are welcome and you can work from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors or quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
