Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security in a hybrid US role. You will lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, copilots, GenAI platforms, and data products, setting target-state architectures and driving secure design decisions with senior stakeholders.

You will define secure-by-design and Zero Trust controls, conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, and partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, data, and platform teams to embed protection in delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, application development, data platforms, or AI platforms.
• 7+ years architecture experience on enterprise-scale platforms and security capabilities.
• 5+ years AI-related development including security architecture and data security.
• Experience leading architecture strategy and technology evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilot, and GenAI applications.
• Drive strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions independently.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, data protection, and monitoring controls.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes.
• Present strategy, architecture recommendations, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
