Job summary

Overture Partners seeks an experienced AI Project Manager to lead a portfolio of AI-enabled initiatives within Marketing & Communications. You will drive delivery from business definition through pilot, adoption, and handoff, coordinating business stakeholders with distributed AI and technology teams.

The role requires managing multiple concurrent workstreams, establishing KPIs, ensuring responsible AI practices, and guiding teams across the U.S. and overseas time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated project roadmaps covering objectives, milestones, resources, dependencies, decision gates, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across marketing, engineering, architecture, data, testing, information security, external partners, and distributed technical resources.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability across initiatives, monitor commitments, and drive timely completion of agreed deliverables.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define problems, document requirements, establish success measures, confirm acceptance standards, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Identify and manage critical delivery dependencies involving data readiness, data quality, integrations, architecture, workflow design, resource availability, and specialist expertise.
• Embed responsible AI practices throughout delivery by incorporating human review, legal, privacy, security, compliance, brand, and governance requirements before solutions enter production.
• Direct proofs of concept, pilots, testing cycles, deployment readiness, implementation activities, and transition into sustainable operating models.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder communications, training, internal champions, structured feedback, change-management activities, and ongoing measurement of business impact.
• Monitor and communicate delivery health through recurring project reviews, concise reporting, decision tracking, risk management, issue escalation, and stakeholder updates.
• Facilitate formal reviews for business-critical initiatives while maintaining traceable records of assumptions, decisions, approvals, actions, and outstanding dependencies.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to immediately lead a portfolio of AI-enabled initiatives supporting Marketing & Communications. This role owns delivery from initial business definition and planning through development, pilot, adoption, and operational handoff while coordinating business stakeholders with distributed AI and technology teams.

To secure an interview, candidates should demonstrate substantial experience delivering complex technology, data, automation, digital, or AI initiatives, along with strong cross-functional project leadership. Experience managing distributed teams, AI-related dependencies, governance requirements, and measurable adoption outcomes is essential.

Must Haves

• Significant experience managing complex technology, AI, data, digital, or automation initiatives from definition through implementation and operational transition.
• Proven success overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, shifting priorities, dependencies, and geographically distributed delivery teams.
• Advanced project management capabilities spanning integrated planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
• Strong experience partnering with business leaders, engineering teams, architects, data specialists, vendors, security teams, and subject-matter experts.
• Working knowledge of AI solution delivery, including data readiness, system integrations, experimentation, validation, privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Demonstrated ability to establish KPIs, acceptance criteria, adoption measures, and business-value metrics for new solutions or operating processes.
• Ability to independently create structure, drive decisions, and maintain delivery momentum in complex or ambiguous environments.

What the Client Needs You to Do

You will turn business priorities into structured, executable AI delivery programs and ensure initiatives continue moving toward measurable outcomes. You will connect Marketing & Communications stakeholders with technical delivery teams, establish ownership and decision points, surface dependencies early, and create transparency around progress.

Success requires more than managing schedules. You will help ensure AI solutions are practical, responsibly governed, supported by appropriate data and controls, and successfully adopted by end users. You will also establish the processes needed to move initiatives efficiently from concept through implementation and sustainable operational support.

Additional Information

This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams operating across multiple regions, including regular coordination between U.S. and overseas-based teams. Candidates should be comfortable managing schedules and communication practices that support productive overlap across these time zones.

The ideal candidate operates effectively with limited supervision and can bring structure to evolving AI initiatives where requirements, technical constraints, or priorities may change during delivery. Strong facilitation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and senior business stakeholders are important.

Experience with PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or a comparable project or product delivery methodology is preferred. Relevant professional certification is advantageous but not required unless otherwise specified during the interview process
