Job summary

Pronix Inc. seeks an AI Program Governance Consultant for a 12+ month contract. Hybrid work arrangement in Holyoke, MA, requiring three on-site days per week (Tue/Wed/Thu) and remote collaboration for the rest.

In this role, you will centralize AI intake, governance, risk assessment, and lifecycle management, engaging stakeholders across Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Legal, Finance, and beyond to implement responsible AI controls and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Central coordination for AI intake, assessment, approval, and lifecycle management.

• Tracks GenAI progress and maintains the AI catalog.
• Develops and socializes AI governance policies and procedures.
• Participates in AI Champions activities including outreach and training.
• Partners with governance and business stakeholders to ensure responsible AI deployment.
• Maintains AI usage policies, approved technologies, and training resources.
• Works with platforms admins to enforce guardrails and standards.
• Creates dashboards on AI usage, adoption, and costs.
• Evaluates governance processes to improve efficiency and transparency.

Job Title: AI Program Governance Consultant

Position: Contract 12+Months

Key Responsibilities

• Serves as the central coordination point for AI intake, assessment, approval, lifecycle management, and stakeholder engagement, including:
• Initiation & Review: guides requestors through proposal submission and questionnaire completion.
• Risk & Council Assessment: coordinates reviews across Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders and prepare materials for Gen AI Council decision-making.
• Lifecycle tracking: tracks ongoing progress on GenAI efforts and keeps Gen AI catalog up to date.
• Develops, maintains and socializes AI governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Active participant in AI Champions program’s activities including but not limited to outreach, documentation and training related activities across the organization including business teams.
• Partners with Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are deployed responsibly, and in alignment with organizational strategy and risk tolerance.
• Develops and maintains AI documentation that defines AI usage policies, current approved AI technologies and AI training resources.
• Partners with AI Platforms’ and Tools’ administrators to implement the guardrails to enforce organization’s standards and best practices.
• Develops and maintains dashboards and reports on AI usage, adoption and cost related metrics.
• Continuously evaluates and enhances AI governance processes, workflows, and controls to improve efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder experience.

• Ability to translate technical, legal, risk, and business requirements into practical governance processes and controls.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, Finance, and business teams.
• Knowledge of AI vendor review, third-party risk management, or technology procurement processes.
