Healthcare client is seeking an AI Program Director to lead the organization's enterprise AI strategy, governance framework, adoption initiatives, and AI-enabled business transformation efforts for a 100% remote, 12 month long contract.
This individual will serve as the central leader responsible for ensuring AI investments are aligned with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and measurable business outcomes. The role will bridge executive leadership, clinical operations, security, analytics, technology, and vendor partners to identify, evaluate, deploy, govern, and optimize AI capabilities across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands‑on program execution and possesses a strong understanding of AI governance, change management, risk management, business transformation, and healthcare operations.
This is a highly visible role that will help shape Mosaic's long-term AI vision while establishing the processes, controls, and organizational capabilities necessary for responsible AI adoption.
8+ years of experience leading enterprise technology, data, analytics, AI, governance, or AI transformation programs.
Experience developing and executing enterprise-level AI, data, digital, or innovation strategies.
Experience building governance programs, risk frameworks, or operating models.
Strong experience in stakeholder management and executive communication.
Experience leading complex cross‑functional initiatives.
Strong analytical and business case development skills.
Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
Healthcare provider experience strongly preferred.
Experience developing AI governance programs.
Knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework and Responsible AI principles.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics initiatives.
Familiarity with Epic, Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or cloud analytics environments.
Experience driving organizational change and technology adoption initiatives.
This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO.
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $105.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
