Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking an AI Program Intern to help design and launch an AI-powered student pitch competition and to support the AI Integration Studio MBA course. You’ll work with a supervisor to shape the program, the tools, and the evaluation process, while building tutorials and course material for students.

Responsibilities span competition design, AI tooling development, MBA course support, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled KU student in good academic standing.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to build or create something.

Responsibilities

  • Program & Competition Design: design the format, rules, and judging criteria for a new AI-integrated pitch competition; define evaluation for final pitch, product, and process; translate concept into runnable program.
  • AI Tooling & Platform Development: research, evaluate, test AI tools and platforms guiding ideation, development, and pitch creation; prototype and build platform experience with supervisor; document findings and iterate.
  • AI Integration Studio Support: help design and refine curriculum for the MBA course, including session plans, assignments, and in-class exercises; assist course admin, set up tools; build demo materials and tutorials for AI tools.
  • Professional Development: complete structured mid-term and final self-assessments; meet with supervisor for mentorship and career exploration.
