Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Data Analyst to act as the AI Productivity Department's data readiness and governance SME. The role ensures AI tools and analytics are built on trusted data sources, coordinating with governance leads and stakeholders to drive data quality and secure, auditable information assets across USGO.

Responsibilities include designing dashboards, KPI reporting, taxonomy management, and knowledge repository optimization to measure ROI and guide AI adoption and productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or data science from a four-year program.
• Recent graduate with no more than two years of relevant experience in data quality, analytics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead data readiness and governance activities for AI initiatives.
• Evaluate data quality, completeness, accessibility, and business relevance.
• Develop and maintain data governance standards, metadata requirements, and information management practices.
• Ensure data sources meet security, compliance, privacy, and retention requirements.
• Work with business units to identify authoritative data sources and remove duplicates.
• Support auditability and traceability of AI-enabled solutions.
• Improve knowledge management and enterprise search across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and repositories.
• Design and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Develop reports and analytics products supporting AI adoption and performance.
• Participate in executive-level reporting demonstrating ROI and value realization.
• Identify trends and bottlenecks using data analysis techniques.
