Diamondback E&P LLC is seeking an AI Product Owner - Engineering to lead AI-enabled initiatives across Drilling, Completions, Production Operations, Marketing and related field workflows. You will own the lifecycle from discovery through adoption, define requirements, manage backlogs, and partner with AI engineering, data, security and governance teams to deliver responsible AI and measurable value.

This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, product ownership experience, and fluency

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to oil and gas or data science.
• 5+ years supporting drilling, completions, or production operations in oil and gas.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology, analytics, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience translating workflows into clear requirements, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with operational data and systems including the listed platforms.

Aufgaben

• Understand workflows and prioritize AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, data readiness, and alignment.
• Own the business problem, vision, users, roadmap, and success measures with sponsors.
• Lead product discovery using rapid prototypes, simulations, data exploration, and lightweight experiments.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage backlog, lead validation and acceptance decisions against defined outcomes.
• Partner with technology, data, security, governance, legal, risk, and operations to deliver compliant AI solutions.
• Represent stakeholder needs and coordinate cross-functional dependencies across functions.
• Own post-launch performance and continuous improvement, monitoring adoption, AI performance, and value realized.
