Job summary

Smart Access is hiring an AI Product Manager to drive the product work behind our MCP server and agentic use cases. You will partner with the VP of Product on strategy and roadmap, write requirements that engineering builds against, prototype AI experiences to validate ideas quickly, and spend meaningful time in the field talking to and demoing to customers who run the warehouses, plants, and DCs we serve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• At least 1 year of experience as an AI Product Manager with ownership of AI features or agentic workflows.
• Comfort in customer-facing settings and conducting discovery interviews.
• Deep fluency with Claude and ability to prototype agentic workflows.
• Hands-on prototyping ability with AI tools.
• Deep understanding of modern AI, LLMs, agent architectures, prompt engineering, and guardrails.
• Familiarity with MCP or comparable protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong collaboration and enterprise B2B experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity in early-stage companies.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed product requirements for MCP server and agentic use cases including SOP retrieval and coaching insights.
• Prototype AI experiences using Claude and other agentic tools.
• Talk to and demo for customers regularly; lead interviews and beta programs.
• Partner with VP of Product on strategy and roadmap; bring customer insights and market signals.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to translate needs into shippable specs.
• Define feature-level success metrics and monitor adoption and impact.
• Contribute to AI safety and governance design including human-in-the-loop patterns.
