Job summary

Artisan AI in San Francisco or New York is seeking a Builder to own products from idea to production. This full-time, in-person role invites you to talk to customers, shape the product, and ship features using TypeScript and React.

You will work directly with our CEO Jaspar, applying product judgment and design taste to turn unclear problems into usable solutions, and you'll be responsible for quality, maintenance, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• You've taken a product or feature from idea to production and can explain outcomes.
• Ship TypeScript and React in an existing codebase with minimal guidance.
• Strong product/design judgment for usable interfaces.
• Outbound sales experience: researching prospects, campaigns, replies.
• Take initiative, defend decisions, and adapt when evidence calls for it.
• Move quickly and own quality and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers, study how they work, and identify problems worth solving.
• Shape the product: write the spec, design the interface, tradeoffs, and scope.
• Build and ship production features in TypeScript and React.
• Follow results to actual use, observe problems, and improve the experience.
• Maintain what you build and fix edge cases for future engineers.
• Collaborate with team on shared infrastructure, AI behavior, or workflows.
