Bank of New York Mellon seeks an AI Process Analyst to drive a large-scale digital transformation in accounting and finance. This 12-month contract requires 4 days onsite weekly in Lake Mary, FL. You will partner with stakeholders to analyze workflows, implement AI-enabled solutions, and foster continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, data analytics, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in prompt engineering, process optimization, or tech-enabled transformation.
• Tech proficiency with Python, JavaScript, SQL and AI prompt engineering.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current-state workflows and design scalable future-state models.
• Coordinate with project manager through full lifecycle: planning to post-launch.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI Process Analyst to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing operations within the accounting and finance organization. This individual will partner with business stakeholders to assess existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and drive process re‑engineering efforts while leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI‑enabled solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity located in Lake Mary, FL, requiring 4 days onsite per week. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise and a passion for process improvement, automation, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Re‑Engineering: Analyze current‑state workflows, identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and design scalable future‑state operating models that improve operational effectiveness.
• Project Coordination: Coordinating with the project manager through the full project lifecycle, assisting in gathering, planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post‑launch support.
• Workflow Optimization: Partner with business and operational stakeholders to understand existing processes, document workflows, and develop solutions that simplify and streamline operations.
• Digital Transformation & AI: Support the implementation of automation, AI, and digital solutions to reduce manual processes, improve decision‑making, and enhance productivity across the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish governance, monitoring, and control frameworks while fostering a culture of innovation and ongoing process enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, process optimization, business transformation, workflow redesign, or technology implementation.
• Technical proficiency with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and AI Prompt Engineering.
• Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms, automation tools, or workflow technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑starter with the ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
• Experience with Alteryx, Xceptor, Power BI, AI platforms, or similar automation and analytics tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to process optimization and redesigning workflows.
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI‑enabled process improvement initiatives.
• Agile project delivery experience and familiarity with digital transformation programs.
• Prior experience within financial services, banking, accounting, finance operations, or middle office environments.
• Relevant certifications in Alteryx, Power BI, AI, Agile, or project management methodologies.
