Job summary

Meta is seeking a Security Engineer to advance vulnerability management at scale. You will design autonomous remediation pipelines, build ML-driven triage agents, and create supply-chain defenses to secure thousands of packages and dependencies.

You will collaborate across security, infrastructure, and product teams to automate detection, prioritization, and patching of vulnerabilities in Meta's codebase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Info Security or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years securing enterprise-scale infrastructure software and services.
• 3-5+ years programming experience in Python, PHP or Ruby.
• Experience remediating infrastructure security gaps using influence across orgs.
• Experience with security automation/monitoring or 'compliance as code'.
• Strong ability to communicate across technical levels to influence decisions.
• Experience identifying and remediating software vulnerabilities including OSS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered autonomous remediation pipelines for vulnerabilities across Meta's codebase.
• Develop ML-driven triage and contextualization agents to assess and prioritize tasks.
• Architect supply-chain defense systems, including time-locked mirrors and metadata enrichment.
• Drive cross-functional strategy with security, infra, and product engineering teams.
• Own technically complex workstreams and solve ambiguous problems.
