Job summary

Meta is seeking a Security Engineer on the Scaling – Vulnerability Management team to build AI-powered remediation pipelines that scan, triage, and patch vulnerabilities across Meta’s codebase. The role focuses on autonomous remediation and AI agents like Viper Assist and FixieAI to reduce risk at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years work experience securing enterprise-scale infrastructure software and services
• 3-5+ years programming experience with Python, PHP, Ruby, or similar scripting languages
• Experience remediating infrastructure security gaps using influence across corporate boundaries
• Experience with security control automation/monitoring or “compliance as code” implementations
• Experience communicating across cross-functional teams to influence decisions
• Experience identifying, triaging, and remediating software security vulnerabilities across a large codebase

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered autonomous remediation pipelines for third-party library vulnerabilities
• Develop ML-driven triage and contextualization agents
• Architect supply-chain defense systems including time-locked mirrors and metadata services
• Drive cross-functional strategy across security, infra, and product engineering
• Own technically complex workstreams and enable others to execute
