Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Utah for a hybrid role that blends in-office days with remote work. You will coordinate cross-functional programs within Business Systems Operations, driving strategy into action and aligning stakeholders across IT, Security, Product, Finance, and Legal.

This is an individual-contributor role focused on influence and facilitation. You will leverage AI to improve planning, reporting, and decision-making while maintaining program standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a formal software development/delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
• Ability to translate strategic direction into executable plans and drive initiatives to completion without direct authority.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills with multi-level alignment.
• Experience managing program risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Proficiency with program-management tools such as Jira or Wrike.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to report clearly to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead alignment workshops and resolve competing priorities while managing cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Plan and lead cross-functional technical programs from intake through implementation and post-launch review.
• Translate portfolio decisions into executable roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate technology intake, evaluation, readiness, and software introduction/retirement activities.
• Sequence business-process and requirements-engineering activities to align with program timelines.
• Maintain clear reporting on status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes for teams and leaders.
• Address cross-program risks and escalate issues through proper channels.
• Apply AI tools to improve planning, reporting, decision-making, and BSO processes.
