Job summary

BambooHR LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the AI at BambooHR initiative in Utah. The role coordinates cross-functional programs across BSO and adjacent teams, translating strategic priorities into executable plans with a focus on AI-enabled process improvement.

You will lead alignment workshops, manage dependencies, and drive initiatives from intake through post-launch review, reporting to Senior Manager, Business Systems Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional technical initiatives across teams.
• 5+ years in formal software development or delivery methods (Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
• Ability to translate strategic direction into executable plans without direct authority.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing program risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and escalation paths.
• Proficiency with program-management tools such as Jira, Wrike, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead alignment workshops and manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Plan and lead cross-functional technical programs from intake to post-launch review.
• Translate portfolio decisions into roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate technology intake, evaluation, and readiness activities.
• Align business-process design and requirements with program timelines.
• Maintain clear reporting on status, milestones, risks, and outcomes for executives.
• Address cross-program risks and escalate when needed.
• Apply AI to improve planning, reporting, and processes.
