Job summary

Schwab Technology Services (STS) is hiring a Technical Product Owner (individual contributor) to drive AI-enabled software initiatives. This role blends Agile product ownership with technical fluency, shaping enterprise AI strategy and prioritizing backlogs for engineering teams.

Strong collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder alignment are essential to scale adoption across Schwab.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience leading development of products and systems in a large, complex enterprise environment.
Translate needs and business imperatives from product vision and roadmaps for use in setting priorities and guiding the work of the Scrum team(s).
Ability to prioritize competing demands effectively and communicate tradeoffs, decisions, and progress clearly to key stakeholders.
Ability to define success metrics, adoption goals, value measurement, and product KPIs.
Be a great listener: understand the development community needs and underlying problems.

Responsibilities

Translate needs and business imperatives from product vision and roadmaps for use in setting priorities and guiding the work of the Scrum team(s).
Prioritize competing demands and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.
Define success metrics, adoption goals, and product KPIs.
Refine and maintain the backlog and conduct release and sprint planning.
Serve as key testing partner and ensure alignment across teams.
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate AI strategy into actionable items.
