Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Project Leader for Enterprise Systems Engineering to advance AI-enabled design capabilities across space vehicle and ground concepts.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, foster partnerships with ETG programs, and steer innovative design initiatives for US Space Force and other customers. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required, with domestic travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.
• At least 10 years of professional engineering/scientific experience.
• Leadership experience in AI capability development and automation.
• Experience leading cross-functional, cross-organizational teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; leadership briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of AI-enabled design capabilities and workflows.
• Serve as focal point for AI-enabled design and establish partnerships across ETG and program offices.
• Drive outreach and education on Aerospace AI-enabled design capabilities.
• Direct complex technical activities and organize multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Steer vehicle and ground conceptual design strategies and pursue new opportunities.
• Incorporate emerging technologies and best practices into design capabilities.
• Expand VGCD relationships with program offices and customers.
• Mentor staff and develop department capabilities.
