Job summary

Lumin Digital is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to bolster a cloud-hosted digital banking platform. You will design reliable security infrastructure, automate platform tasks with AI-assisted workflows, and manage telemetry, OpenSearch, and CI/CD across AWS accounts and regions.

Qualifications include 5+ years in platform/reliability engineering, strong Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes experience, plus AWS security and GitOps expertise. Remote-friendly with on-site options at times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on platform/reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security fabric for reliability and scale.
• Automate security platform engineering tasks using AI-assisted workflows.
• Operate security telemetry, log analytics, and observability across environments.
• Design GitOps deployment workflows across AWS accounts and regions.
• Write production-quality Python tooling to support platform operations.
• Secure and operate Kubernetes workloads in EKS with RBAC and network policies.
• Maintain cross-account and multi-region infrastructure patterns (KMS, IAM, VPC).
• Participate in on-call rotations and document resolutions and improvements.
• Support security audits by engineering evidence collection in data flows.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers, Risk, and Site Reliability Engineering.
