Job summary

Lumin Digital is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to help scale and secure a cloud-native banking platform. You will apply reliability engineering to security-critical infrastructure, build AI-assisted workflows, and manage telemetry, deployments, and cross-account security across AWS accounts and regions.

You will write production Python tooling, secure Kubernetes workloads, and collaborate with Security Operations and Risk teams to continually improve resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in CS/SE/Cybersecurity or related field with relevant projects or certifications.
• 5+ years in platform/reliability engineering or DevSecOps with AI/tooling focus.
• Production experience with Python and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Proven track record in AWS, Kubernetes, multi-account/multi-region patterns, and CI/CD.
• Experience with security telemetry, GitOps, and reliability practices in sensitive contexts.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a scalable security fabric across environments with reliability emphasis.
• Automate security platform engineering tasks using agentic AI workflows and tools.
• Manage security telemetry, log analytics, OpenSearch, and alerting for detection/response.
• Design GitOps deployment workflows across AWS accounts with audits and separation of duties.
• Write production Python utilities and tooling for platform operations and automation.
• Secure and operate EKS workloads with RBAC, network policies, and safeguards.
• Maintain cross-account and multi-region infrastructure patterns and IAM/KMS configurations.
• Participate in on-call rotations, restore service health, and reduce manual toil.
• Support security incidents with evidence collection, logs, and monitoring readiness.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, and SRE teams to align infra decisions.
