Apollo is seeking an early-career investment analyst who blends quantitative rigor with AI fluency to support portfolio management across the AAA fund. You will work on risk analysis, thesis development, and investment research, with AI woven into workflows and decision-making.

You'll build tools in Excel and Python, perform attribution, and interface with senior leadership. A strong communicator who learns quickly will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with financial modeling, portfolio management, and risk analytics.
• Fluency with modern AI tools and document-intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted workflows for portfolio management, risk analysis, and investment research.
• Support top-down portfolio construction, including asset allocation analysis and portfolio optimization.
• Conduct performance attribution and risk analysis across the portfolio.
• Develop quantitative tools in Excel and Python to support management and risk monitoring.
• Synthesize information across investments to inform portfolio-level views.
• Identify bottlenecks and build AI-native solutions for the team.
• Interface with the Investment Committee and senior management on exposures and theses.
• Collaborate with asset management and deal teams at Apollo on implementations.
• Translate quantitative analysis into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support investor materials, IC presentations, and strategic initiatives.
