Job summary

Flatirons Solutions is seeking a hands‑on PMO Manager to lead a small PM team in Boulder, CO or fully remote. You will drive AI-enabled software delivery, establish PMO processes, and push Agile practices across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Technical Services.

Aviation/aerospace exposure is a big plus, and the role reports to Engineering Operations. You will onboard and coach Project Managers, develop performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to guide decision‑making, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience managing software projects.
Minimum five years of demonstrated management experience leading custom software development or systems integration projects.
AI experience required for project leadership.
Aviation and Aerospace knowledge is a huge plus.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or Agile Methodologies (SAFe, CSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee onboarding, coaching, and assignment of work to Project Managers reporting to you.
Develop reports, strategies, processes, and PMO methodologies to drive project performance.
Promote and implement Agile methodologies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Hands‑on involvement with major projects and escalation point for stakeholders.
Ensure PMO artifacts, dashboards, and metrics align with Quality and Information Security systems.
