Job summary

WebMD Ignite is seeking a Content Strategist to guide the strategic vision for patient education assets across products. You will craft engaging, discoverable content integrated into clinical workflows and optimized for consumer journeys, with a focus on AI-enabled orchestration.

You will collaborate with UX, Product, and Knowledge teams to ensure content is modular, AI-ready, and aligned with evolving medical guidelines and EMR integrations across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Health, Health Education, or a related field (Master's level preferred).
• 5+ years in content strategy or patient education, specifically B2C health or wellness products, or with healthcare/HealthIT experience.
• Familiar with patient education strategy, aligning assets for consumers, providers, payers, and health IT users.

Responsibilities

• Strategic roadmapping: define content themes and priorities aligned with consumer health trends and client needs for engagement and education.
• AI & clinical auditing: use agentic AI for governance, auditing, and automated asset mapping; flag outdated items for review.
• Market alignment: engage with clients to translate jobs to be done into editorial solutions supporting self-serve and EMR integrations.
• Product collaboration: partner with UX and Product Managers to ensure content is born digital and fits modern app layouts and workflows.
• FHIR support: align content and metadata models to be FHIR-ready for EMR data exchange.
• AI Content Recommendations: work on AI-driven content suggestions combining encounter data with transcripts for clinicians.
• Content design: identify intent gaps in consumer and patient libraries and develop answers to questions online and for clients.
• Workflow & Operations: lead AI enablement, training for team members, and integration of AI agents into content strategy workflows.
