Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is building an AI-powered real estate growth platform with a strong track record, backing by top investors. The Maps & Search team handles high-traffic home search across web and mobile, using AI to enhance discovery, ranking, and user workflows.

You will lead from the front, maintain code quality, and drive architectural decisions that translate business goals into scalable delivery.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in people leadership.
Experience in search, relevance, ranking, or retrieval systems.
Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
Experience designing scalable microservices in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
Strong understanding of GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch.
Proven track record operating high-traffic, low-latency production systems.
Experience leading high-impact SaaS initiatives from concept to production.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Maps & Search team, hiring, onboarding and career development.
Stay hands-on with code reviews, architecture decisions, and debugging.
Own and scale a high-throughput real estate search platform handling ~1B monthly requests.
Deliver a world-class home search experience across web and mobile.
Drive AI-powered discovery and ranking within search and user workflows.
Shape roadmaps with product and design, translating needs into technical plans.
