Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on Legal Operations professional to own end-to-end processes across filings, IP protection, audits, and compliance. You will build AI-powered workflows to streamline tasks and scale with a growing, remote-friendly startup.

You will report to the Legal Counsel, drive projects from start to finish, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory readiness in the US and Canada. A strong focus on automation and proactive communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with high academic performance.
• You own projects from start to finish and solve problems independently.
• Strong interest in using AI and technology to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual legal tasks using AI and low-code workflows.
• Conduct legal research, review contracts, and handle new regulatory questions.
• Maintain entity compliance across US and Canada, including annual reports.
• Protect brand by monitoring IP and initiating cease-and-desist actions.
• Investigate escalations, identify root causes, and train teams for compliance.
• Perform product compliance reviews with Engineering and Product teams.
• Lead audits across operations and monitor high-risk areas.
