Job summary

Berkley Technology Services (BTS) in Wilmington, DE, seeks an AI Automation Architect to design, build, and maintain AI-enabled automation for Governance, Risk & Compliance. Collaborate with IT GRC, InfoSec, and internal audit to turn manual tasks into automated workflows on ServiceNow GRC/IRM and Archer.

You will integrate data, apply AI responsibly, and ensure security controls, while producing clear documentation and enabling scalable, auditable processes for the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation building and shipping concrete automations.
• Experience turning manual, fragmented processes into automated workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and REST APIs for data movement across systems.
• Experience with workflow-automation/orchestration tools and reusable data pipelines.
• Applied AI experience: agents, RAG, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Data engineering fluency: structuring and transforming data across systems.
• Security-first mindset with least-privilege, auditing and change control.
• Strong communication to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GRC automations and AI-enabled solutions for faster, auditable capabilities.
• Automate collection, validation, and packaging of control evidence for SOX/NYDFS 500.
• Build and improve exception intake, routing, reporting, and dashboards in GRC platforms.
• Integrate control, risk, and evidence data across GRC, ITSM, identity, and security tooling via APIs.
• Apply AI to draft narratives, summarize findings, and map controls to frameworks with human review.
• Create and maintain documentation, run books, data lineage, and mappings for auditable automation.
• Embed security controls in automations and align with AI policy and governance.
• Collaborate with IT Compliance, Internal Audit, InfoSec, and OU teams to identify opportunities and drive adoption.
