Cenero, a hybrid software company in Malvern, PA, seeks a Software Engineer II to design and implement features across the full stack. You will work on modern UI and scalable server-side systems using .NET, collaborating with Product Owners and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You'll use AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code, review AI outputs, and own the final results. The role emphasizes code quality, testing, and clear documentation within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years experience building and supporting web applications.
• Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, and Software Development Fundamentals and Process.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clean APIs and services; explain tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and surface edge cases.
• Define changes including expected behavior, failure cases, and constraints before directing AI tools to build.
• Break features into small, testable changes that can be built, reviewed, and released independently.
• Attend sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as an active Agile team member.
