Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Development team for full-stack development directly with business users. You will help turn prototypes into secure, scalable production applications and maintain key technical areas including security, hosting, and performance.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development using Claude Code, Codex, and related tools, with a strong collaboration across Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience with C# and .NET development.
• Experience designing, querying, and developing against relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and system integrations.
• Willingness to use AI-assisted development tools as a primary workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern full-stack applications.
• Build front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Develop APIs, services, and application back ends using .NET / C#.
• Design and work with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and support applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Partner with business users to understand workflows and opportunities for automation.
• Transform prototypes into production-ready solutions and ensure security and hosting compliance.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
